The No. 6 seed UAFS Lions will play the No. 3 seed Midwestern State Mustangs at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Division II National Tournament hosted by Metro State University in Denver, Colo.

UAFS (21-6) earned one of the five at-large bids from the South Central Region and is one of three Heartland Conference teams to earn an invitation to the tournament. No. 5 seed St. Mary’s will play No. 4 seed Colorado School of Mines at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, while No. 7 seed Texas A&M International, which earned the conference’s automatic bid, will play No. 2 seed Tarleton State at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

No. 1 seed and No. 1 nationally-ranked Metro State will play No. 8 seed University of Colorado-Colorado Springs at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets will be on sale Friday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the ticket office of the Auraria Event Center on the Auraria Campus. The ticket office will re-open on Saturday at 10 a.m. Admission will be $12 for adults, $8 for seniors, $6 for students and free for children 5-years-old and under.
