The Lady Pointers secured the second seed in the Class 7A state tournament with the 49-46 road win at Bryant on Friday.
Van Buren (13-10, 6-4) swept the season series against Bryant, which will be the third seed.
Jamilyn Kinney, Halie Jennen and Danae Goodwin hit 3-pointers for the Lady Pointers and combined to score 37 points.
Van Buren wiped out a 24-22 halftime deficit with an 18-12 advantage in the third quarter and held on for the win.
Jennen and Kinney each scored 13 points with Kinney scoring nine in the fourth quarter. Goodwin added 11 points.
Lauren Carroll scored 18 points for Bryant (13-10, 5-5).
Van Buren Pointers
The Pointers won 58-52 on Friday to clinch the No. 1 seed out of the 7A Central and bye for the first round of the state tournament.
Jaylynn Dye paced the team with 18 points. Mitchell Smith added 10 and Hayden Salisbury tossed in nine.
Cedarville Lady Pirates
Cedarville finished the regular season with a loss to Greenland on Feb. 13.
Greenland won 53-41 after leading 32-16 at halftime.
Cedarville rallied back and cut the lead by nine, 36-27, before the start of the fourth quarter. Shanda Brown led with 14 and Bailie Murphy had 11.
Cedarville beat Elkins 49-43. Murphy led with 13 and Brown added 10.
Mountainburg Lady Dragons
Johnson County Westside won Saturday’s contest 36-15 after leading 19-8 at the break.
Rylli Hammond and Breanna Peevy both had four points each while Breanna Williams tossed in three.
The Lady Dragons defeated Hackett 18-14 on Friday to advance to Saturday’s finals. Hackett came out and led 9-4 at halftime.
Hammond led the team with eight points and Greta Rutherford added four. Shelby Watkins and Kassy Pense both had three points each.
