The Lady Dragons picked up another win Friday night with 21 points from Kaylyn Moore.

Mountainburg defeated Decatur 51-20 after taking a 28-11 lead in the first half.

Britton Peters added nine points and both Carly Mann and Brooke Pense had six points each.

Mulberry 58, Wonderview 45 (Women’s)

The Mulberry Lady YellowJackets defeated Wonderview 58-45 Friday night as four different players reached double digits.

Lexi Voorhees led the charge with 18 points. Brittany Edwards added 14 and Rebecca Treat tossed in 12. Sam Cagle tossed in 11.

Mulberry jumped to 11-4 lead and was up 40-32 after three quarters of play.

Wonderview 64, Mulberry 40 (Men’s)

The YellowJackets had a 15-7 lead after the first quarter, but Wonderview rallied back to tie up the game at halftime, 24-24.

Wonderview led 48-29 after three quarters of play.

Trevor Marvin led with 14 points. Keegan Brake and Drew Ball had six points while Luke Anderson added five.


Mountainburg 43, Decatur 11 (Girls)

Kassy Pense and Shelby Watkins each both scored more than Decatur to finish out the regular season Friday night.

Pense led with 13 points and Watkins added 12. Breanna Williams tossed in seven.

The Lady Dragons are the No. 2 seed for the junior high tournament that began Monday night.

Mountainburg 34, Decatur 31 (Boys)

The Dragons won the close contest on Friday and earned the No. 3 seed for the junior high tournament that began Monday at Decatur.

Mountainburg plays on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. against No. 6 seeded Eureka Springs.

Harley Clark led with 10 points while Avery Hampton added eight. Austin Taylor tossed in seven.
