The Mulberry Lady Yellow Jackets dropped their first game of the season as Nemo Vista rallied Tuesday night at "Cotton" Havener Gymnasium.

Nemo Vista trailed 22-14 at the break, but Mulberry had just 11 points in the second half as the visiting team was able to take the win.

Sam Cagle paced Mulberry (2-1) with 14 points and Brittany Edwards and Rebecca Treat added seven and six points respectively.

Nemo Vista 49, Mulberry 32

The Red Hawks built a seven-point lead in the first quarter and kept adding to it to hand the Yellow Jackets their second loss of the season.

Nemo Vista led 11-4 after the first quarter and 23-9 at the break.

Trevor Martin led with nine points and Dalton Reeves added eight for Mulberry (2-2). Eli Whitlock tossed in five.

Pleasant View 17, St. Paul 14

Amanda Jones scored 10 points and Jorden Goolsby added seven as the Lady Hornets won the low-scoring contest on Thursday.

Pleasant View led 9-4 at the break.

Pleasant View 30, Nemo Vista 22

The Lady Hornets beat Nemo Vista after scoring just four points in the first quarter in Tuesday’s game. Amanda Jones led with 15 points and Jorden Goolsby added 11.

Nemo Vista had a slim 6-4 lead to start the second quarter, but Pleasant View outscored the Red Hawks 6-2 during that frame to lead 10-8 at the break.

The Red Hawks pulled within one, 18-17, in the third quarter.

St. Paul 33, Pleasant View 15

Kaleb Hendricks scored 10 points in Thursday’s loss.

Both teams were tied 6-6 after the first quarter and the Hornets trailed by four, 14-10 at halftime.

St. Paul then pulled ahead and grabbed the win after Pleasant View was limited to five points in the second half.
