Mulberry picked up a couple of wins Friday night for homecoming by defeating Oark.

The Lady YellowJackets bounced back from Tuesday’s loss to top Oark 69-11.

Five different players scored in double digits for Mulberry as Sarah Fisher led with 23 points.

Both Brittany Edwards and Taylor Naegle had 15 points apiece. Destiny Freeman added 11 and Lexi Voorhees tossed in 10. Hailey Hvnstad and Rebecca Treat had eight and seven points respectively.

Mulberry (6-2) led 21-0 in the first quarter and was up 41-4 at halftime. The Lady YellowJackets led 59-6 going into the fourth quarter.

YellowJackets 72, Oark (Men’s)

Mulberry held Oark to 17 points in the first half as Trevor Marvin scored 21 points to pace the YellowJackets.

Luke Anderson added 18 points and Dalton Reeves chipped in seven. Both Keegan Brake and Drew Ball tossed in six.
