The road to the 2015 state championship begins today for Arkansas High School basketball teams.

Paris and Cedarville are hosting their respective conference tournaments today.

Paris and Cedarville finished second in their respective leagues and don’t play until later this week.

Booneville’s girls and boys play Danville and Atkins today at the 3A-4 tournament in Paris. The Eagles and Lady Eagles, both of whom finished second in their respective leagues, play Thursday at 7 and 8:30 p.m., respectively.

Also today, the Ozark Hillbillies, who finished 3-11 in the 4A-4, face Robinson today at 7:30 p.m. at Dardanelle High School. The Hillbillies and Senators just played Friday, with Robinson edging the Ozark, 67-63.

The regular season champion Ozark Lady Hillbillies earned a first-round bye and play their first first game Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.

At Cedarville, the 3A-1 District tournament kicks off with Mansfield and Haas Hall girls at 6 p.m. and Elkins and Cedarville boys at 7:30 p.m.

Hackett is hosting the 2A-4 tournament Tuesday. There are four first-round matchups Tuesday, starting with Union Christian and Decatur.
