The Powder Puff class will race again on Saturday at Crawford County Speedway.
The track will host a back-to-school backpack giveaway on Aug. 5. All kids 12 and under will get a backpack. CCS will also feature its second bicycle race of the season.
Caden Ellis made his way back to the victory lap in his first win since June 17.
Ellis opened up the 2017 season with a win and had back-to-back wins back on June 10 and 17. He was runner up the previous two weeks as Dalton Ragsdale posted wins.
Les Weese made his first feature run since April 15 and was second followed by Rayn Rasberry at third.
Van Buren’s Eric Waterbury was fourth and Tony Ferrari picked up his second straight fifth-place finish.
Johnny Gregory picked up his third win in four starts as he beat a short field for the checkered flag.
Stan Lewis was runner up for the second consecutive week and now has six Top 3 finishes. Only Johnny Gregory (14) and JP Gregory (10) have more in the Mini Stock class.
Brad Barnett made his 2017 feature debut to place third and Travis Boyster nabbed fourth. Jeremy Boster rounded out the Top 5.
JP Gregory finished sixth after winning two of the previous four races.
Front Wheel Drive
Cory Howell won his first race of the 2017 season in his 11th start.
Howell finished as high as second back on April 8 with a pair of third-place finishes during the year.
Last week’s winner, Chris Perkins of Rudy, was second and Dakota Stogsdill placed third.
Rounding out the Top 5 was Harley McNatt and Chris Tuck.
Eddie Martin posted his first back-to-back win in his seventh feature start of the season. Martin has won four times this season.
Mulberry’s Carl McDade was second while Danny Southerland returned to the dirt track north of Van Buren and placed third.
Thurman Blanton nabbed fourth and Gene Gore was fifth.
Dalton McKenzie garnered his second win in just six starts this season.
Jesse Leamons was second and Van Buren’s Paul Kramer placed third.
Van Buren’s Shannon Weese, who was third last week, finished fourth and Dylan Coughran of Van Buren rounded out the rest of the field.
Clinton Drummond made his way back to the victory lap with his fifth feature win of the season.
Last week’s winner, Jaylen Brewton was second and Rowdy Bonewell took third.
James Parker finished fourth and Chris Gregory was fifth.
