Alma, Van Buren compete at Leonard Daniel Memorial Airedale Relays.

Alma was runner-up in both the men’s and women’s divisions at Leonard Daniel Memorial Airedale Relays held Friday.

Fayetteville won the 15-school event in men’s division with 149 points. Alma grabbed second with 93 and finished ahead of Heritage (86). Van Buren finished eighth (37).

The Lady Bulldogs also won the women’s division among 18 teams with 153 points. The Airedalettes had 85 points followed by Poteau (60), Heritage (58.5) and the Lady Pointers (47).

Van Buren’s Chole Auldridge won the 100-meter dash and was second in the 200 and third in the long jump.

Caleb Christensen had two first-place finishes for the Pointers. He won the 100 and the 200. Christensen also finished seventh in the long jump and was eighth in the high jump.

Marta Wolczynska won the 100-meter hurdles and was second in the 300 hurdles.

Martie Schockley collected first in the 300-meter hurdles and was third in the 100 hurdles.

Alyssa Hoyle won the long jump and was runner-up in the triple jump.

Alma’s relay team won the 400 and was second in the 1,600-meter relay. The Airedalettes also collected a fourth-place finish in the 3,200-meter relay.

The Airedales’ relay team won the 400 and was third in the 3,200 and fourth in the 1,600.

Keagan Fuselier won the long jump while Zach Martin placed first in the discus.

OTHER FINISHES

LADY POINTERS

Julia Clark placed second in the 1,600-meter run and was fourth in the 800. In the field events, Sydney Grizzle took third in the shot put and Sydney Woith grabbed fifth in the discus.

AIREDALETTES

Rae Smith earned fourth in both the long jump and the triple jump.

Kylee Sims took fifth in the 100 hurdles.

Chesnee Ellifrits was eighth in both the 100 and 300 hurdles.

POINTERS

Christian Morrow nabbed fourth in the 100.

Justin Safonov clinched seventh in the 110 hurdles.

The 400 relay team finished seventh in the 400 and eighth in the 3,200.

Garret Standifird was fifth in the discus.

AIREDALES

Eli Howells finished second in the 200 and the triple jump.

Caleb Worst clinched second in the long jump and third in the 110 hurdles.

Conner Huff nabbed second in the 100.

Levi Prestidge grabbed fourth in the shot put.

Parker Edwards took fifth in the 300 hurdles, sixth in the 100 hurdles and seventh in the high jump.

Taking fifth in the jumping events was Chris Belt in the high jump and Keegan Rosebeary in the long jump.

Securing sixth in the field events was Mark Brumley in the discus and David Mullins in the shot put.

Collecting seventh was Riley Mitchelle in the 200 and Joey White in the 800.
