Wilma "Jean" Crowder, 82, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, March 29, 2016, in Little Rock. She was born July 24, 1933, in Fayetteville. She was a retired Fort Smith Public School teacher’s aide at Kimmon’s Junior High School and a member of First Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Crowder; a son, David Crowder of Fort Smith; a daughter, Kristi Seibech of Alma; two sisters, Jan Katz of Van Buren and Shirley Speedlin of Goshen; five grandchildren and a great-grandson, Elijah Johnson.

Funeral was April 2 at First Christian Church in Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

Pallbearers were Jim Wyatt, Harold Callahan, Jim Wiley, Winston Simpson and Larry and Andy Crowder.

Honorary pallbearers were all former Westark baseball players and coaches.
