Ray Herring, 60, of Alma died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at a local hospital. He was a retired manager for Sam’s Club, member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Alma and Alma Masonic Lodge No. 735 and owner/operator of Pink Pilky Snow to Go in Van Buren. He was born May 21, 1954, in Duncan, Okla.
He is survived by his wife Debbie; a son, Brandon Herring of Alma; a sister, Janie Smith of Hot Springs; and a brother, John Herring of Royal, Ark.
Funeral was May 9 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
Pallbearers were Warren Seal, Jeff Peters, John Herring Jr., Chase Ransom Paul Brosnan and Ryan Decker.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the District 7 Fire Department, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas DeMolay.
