Marilyn Jo Beam, 80, of Mulberry passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, in Fort Smith. She was born Oct. 13, 1934, in Mulberry to the late Olen and Susie Oliver. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mulberry, where she was also a member of the United Methodist Women (UMW). She was also a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution). She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Hill.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Mulberry with burial to follow at New Cemetery in Mulberry. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.

Mrs. Beam is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bill Beam of the home; her daughter, Marla Walker and her husband Bruce of Mulberry; two sons, Craig Beam and his wife Sharon of Van Buren and Chris Beam and his wife Dana of Alma; her granddaughter, Lindsey Morris and her husband Grant; four grandsons, Brian Beam, Ethan Walker, Mark Beam and Alex Walker; and her two great-grandchildren, Tara and Elijah Morris. She is also survived by her sister, Dottie Drennan of Glendale, Calif.

Pallbearers will be Brian Beam, Ethan Walker, Mark Beam, Alex Walker and Grant Morris.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
