Jimmye Kaye Hopkins, 78, of Alma, formerly of Idabel, Okla., passed away Monday, May 18, 2015. She was born Dec. 24, 1936, in Garvin, Okla., to the late Wallace and Winnie Hopkins. She was a homemaker and attended the Presbyterian Church in Alma. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gina Black.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Brent Black of Portland, Ore., Kerry Black of Lorton, Va., and Joe Black of Alma; a twin sister, Billye Slaton of Midwest City, Okla.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with a 3 p.m. committal service at Dennison Cemetery in Idabel, Okla., under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.
