Jayson Lee Potthast, 40, of Mulberry died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, in Fort Smith. He was born July 23, 1974 in Twin Falls, Idaho. He was a driver for USA Truck and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya; two daughters, Whitney and Kaytlyn Potthast of the home; two sons, Jimmie and Garrett Potthast of the home; mother and stepfather, Robin and Peter Buck-Friis of Fresno, Calif.; father and stepmother, Rod and Faye Potthast of Twin Falls; six sisters, McKenzie Buck-Friis of Queen Creek, Ariz., Carlina Potthast and Antonia Potthast, both of California, Lucia Potthast of Washington and Christina and Karen Coats, both of Twin Falls; two brothers, Matt Potthast of Fresno and Jason Coats of Meridian, Idaho; and grandmothers, Helen Potthast of Twin Falls and Jerry Green of Jerome, Idaho.
Funeral was Feb. 2 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Alma with burial at Oak Bower Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers were Matt, Jimmie, Garrett and Rod Potthast, Paul Lerch, Pete Buck-Friis, Richard Black and Dallas Bartlett.
