Deborah Lynne Hight, 57, of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, in a local hospital. She was a curriculum coach at Tate Elementary School in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry L. Medlock.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Hight of the home; two sons, Landon Hight of Rogers and Logan Hight of Van Buren; her mother, Annette Medlock of Van Buren; two sisters, Brenda Belcher and husband Marty of Alma and Mona Jackson and husband Scott of Arkadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Larry Hight, David Hight, Mike Medlock, Jared Medlock, Marty E. Belcher, Blake Belcher, Joshua Jackson and Jake Mutters.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tate Elementary staff and Van Buren School District curriculum coaches.
