Linda Ann Gillis, 66, of Mulberry died Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, in Fort Smith. She was office manager for G&R and White’s Mobile Homes Service of Fort Smith and of the Pentecostal faith. She was born May 29, 1952, in Providence, R.I., to John Giroux and Ruth Arlene Firth. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jim Gillis.
She is survived by her two sons, Dickie White and wife Wendy of Alma and Shannon Gillis of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Tina McDowell and husband Matt of Alma and Misty Ferguson and husband Chris of Eastland, Texas; grandchildren, Brandon, Britany, Nickie, and nine others; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Aug. 30 at New Life United Pentecostal Church in Alma with Brother Joe Dunn officiating and burial at Evergreen Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers were Jeremy Watkins, Shane Ross, Brian Sharum, Roger Gwinn, James Wofford and Carl Wilkinson. Honorary pallbearers were Dickie White Sr., Donnie Anderson and Mike Smith.
