Kirk Shryer, 75, of Fort Smith passed away Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018. He was born Nov. 3, 1942, in Kansas City. He was a retired analyst with Northrop Grumman and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Shryer of the home; three daughters, Tammy Muniz of Washington, Tracey Hutchens of California and Jamey Stevens of Rudy; two sons, Bret Shryer of California and Brian Shryer of Fort Smith; his mother, Norma Swanson of Brandon, Miss.; a sister, Patty Foy of Pearl, Miss.; three brothers, Al Shryer of Great Falls, Mont., Mike Shryer of Eaton, Ohio, and Charles Shryer of Brandon, Miss; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
