Jessie Lee Cole, 80, of Scott City, Kan., died Monday, May 14, 2018, at a nursing home. He was born Sept. 7, 1937, in Mulberry. He worked as a farmer and cattleman in Kansas for more than 50 years and served on the Scott County Hospital Board. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Scott City, Kan., active 4-H leader and certified EMT.

He is survived by two daughters, Trina Harlow of Prosper, Texas, and Robyn Lane of Grove, Okla.; siblings, Dora Roe of Rogers, Anna Dowd of Texarkana, Texas, Bob Cole of Mulberry, Billy Cole of Alma, Tommy Cole of Sand Springs, Okla., Merle Stovall of Mountain Home, Marsha Mirra of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Pamela Hudson of Batesville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Main Street Missionary Baptist Church in Mulberry with burial at New Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie and Allen Adams, David Ferguson, Jimmy Roe, Andrew and Hunter Harlow, Stevie King and Shelley Henson.
