Norma Sue Ross (Adams) of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at her home. She was born 78 years ago in a home behind the Maple Shade Church of the Nazarene where her walk with the Lord began. She grew up in that church, beginning to attend at a young age, and met her husband to be at age four. They grew up and served the Lord together. They attended Nazarene churches in Alma, Van Buren and Fort Smith. Had she lived, this year would have marked 60 years of love of their family, friends and their faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Irene (Thompson) Adams; and one brother, Donald Adams.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Ross of the home; two daughters, Marla Janell Sandlin of Van Buren and Karen Sue Fuini of San Antonio, Texas; and four grandchildren, Kristen Shay, Jacob Harrell, Chloe Kennedy and Allison Sandlin.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Steve Certain, Stan Ross, Larry Spruill, James Spruill, Clyde Mahurin and Kevin Ross.

Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
