Ellen Rackley, 79, of Van Buren passed away Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017. She was born Nov. 1, 1938, in Haskell, Okla., to the late Everett and Senna Mae Ridley. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Van Buren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Yvonne Burke and Betty Casebolt; and five brothers, J.D., Dale, Vernon, Ernest, and Jimmy Ridley.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Rackley of the home; a daughter, Gina Rackley of Broken Arrow; a son, Grant Rackley of Van Buren; a sister, Shirley Davis of Osage, Okla.; three grandchildren, Taylor Rackley, Evan Rackley and Hallie Rackley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church Chapel in Van Buren with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Davis, Butch Davis, Bruce Ridley, Mark Ridley, Doug Casebolt and David Rackley.

The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.
