Ruby Lucille Oliver, 95, of Van Buren passed away Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, at a local hospital. She was a cook at Cottage Café in Van Buren and also worked at Stepping Stone School in Alma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene Gregory and Gracie Mae (Henson) Gregory; her husband, Isaac Oliver; and five sons, James, Bobby, Isaac, Jerry and Billy Oliver.

She is survived by two daughters, Earlene Painter and her husband Johnny and Pat Oliver, all of Kibler; two sons, Kenny Oliver of Terrill, Texas, and Randy Oliver of Yoestown, Ark.; one sister, Maxine Elam of Van Buren; two brothers, Jimmy Gregory of Kibler and Kirksey Gregory of California; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Yoestown Cemetery in Yoestown under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Norman Painter, Jeff Painter, Ike Oliver, John Oliver, Morgan Oliver, Quinn Mitchell, Jerry Oliver, Shannon Oliver and Gary Dyke.

Family will visit with relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., Van Buren.
