Patricia Ann Releford-Mays, 60, of Fort Smith died Friday, Feb. 10, 2017. She was born Oct. 27, 1957, in Fort Smith. She was an assistant vice president for BancorpSouth in Van Buren and the widow of Warner Mays Jr.

She was a graduate of Northside High School, attended Westark Community College and completed a number of American Institute of Banking courses. She was active with Partners-In-Education, United Way and currently served as Van Buren School District Education Foundation Board. She was a member of New Covenant International Christian Church.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at New Covenant International Christian Church in Fort Smith with burial at Oak Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She is survived by four sons, Bryant Johnson of Atlanta, Ga., Terrill Alston of Conway, Andrew Alston Sr. of Fort Campbell, Ky., and Warner Mays III of Hope; three sisters, Mildred Releford, LaDonna Jackson and Myra Releford, all Fort Smith; four brothers, Joe Releford, Billy Releford, Michael Releford and Gary Releford, all of Fort Smith; and six grandchildren.
