Tim Ward, 57, of Alma passed away Monday, Jan. 23, 2017. He was born Dec. 20, 1959, in Chicago to the late Levy and Goldie Ward. He was a retired sergeant with the U.S. Army, having served 24 years. He had worked for OK Foods in Fort Smith and was a former member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and Road Riders for Jesus Motorcycle Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Ward.
He is survived by his wife, Teri Ward of the home; a daughter, Catherine Cline of Booneville; and a brother, Rodney Ward of Fort Smith.
Funeral service was Jan. 27 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with committal at Havana Cemetery near Danville under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers were Rodney Ward, Michael Ernst, Blake Bradley, Bobby Gimlin, Steven Davis, Gage Lindsey, and Tom Ernst.
