Gertrude Yakley, 93, of Kibler passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at a local hospital.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Southside Church of God Seventh Day in Fort Smith and Kibler Church of God Seventh Day. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Clyde Yakley; two sisters, Charlotte Black and Kathrine Joslin; and three brothers, Eddie, Charles and Irvin Rigensberg.

She is survived by her three daughters, Peggy Rymel and husband Charles of Alma, Darlene Marley and husband Guy of Van Buren and Linda Becker and husband, Clarence of Kibler; three sons, Raymond Yakley and wife Sharon of Jackson Gap, Ala., Herman Yakley and wife Helen of Alma and Samuel Yakley and wife Dorothy of Grove, Okla.; 13 grandchildren. 18 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Marley, Herman Yakley Jr., Jeff Yakley, Tyler Yakley, Brian Becker and Justin Becker and Anthony Smith.

Family will visit with relatives and friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., Van Buren.
