Van Buren Chamber of Commerce will mark a major milestone June 4 when the chamber hosts its 60th annual banquet.

Chamber Executive Director Jackie Krutsch said the Diamond Jubilee celebration will include dinner and a look back at the highlights from 2014-15 as well as a number of special features including a diamond jewelry drawing and the presentation of the prestigious Iverson Riggs Memorial Citizen of the Year Award.

"The evening also will see the return of the chamber business fair which gives our members the chance to market their organization to hundreds of leaders from the community," Krutsch said.

The 60 years strong-themed event will be at Van Buren High School with the expo getting underway at 5 p.m. in the lobby of the VBHS Fine Arts Center.

"This expo serves as the largest gathering of regional business leaders, giving participants the chance to showcase their products and services to many potential customers and clients," Krutsch said.

The dinner and program will follow at 7 p.m. in the VBHS Commons Area.

"In honor of the banquet’s six-decade run, we have added a presenting level diamond sponsorship for members," Krutsch said. "This top tier will include a wide-range of benefits including 12 reserved seating tickets and a free business fair booth at the highly attended expo. It will also provide for heavy promotion on the Chamber’s social media pages, Weekly Update e-blast and website."

Additional sponsorship and marketing opportunities also are available. Platinum, gold and silver levels provide for a free business booth at the expo as well as banquet tickets. Individual tickets may be purchased for $40.

Reservations for both the business fair and banquet are required.

Deadline to secure sponsorships and order tickets is May 29. Business fair booths are $200 for chamber members and $250 for non-members. Space is limited.
