Van Buren Fine Arts Center will host the Southern Gospel Celebration Saturday, Feb. 28, at 6 p.m.

Southern Gospel Celebration will feature performances by Karen Peck and New River, Mark Bishop, and The Perrys. Tickets are $26 for the V.I.P section, $21 for floor and $18 for balcony seating.

A portion of proceeds go to benefit the River Valley Salvation Army.

Karen Peck and New River is a three-time Grammy-nominated and three-time Dove award-winning southern gospel group.

The group had six consecutive No. 1 songs in four years, and have performed at The Grand Ole Opry and similar venues, and been featured on numerous Christian television networks.

New River consists vocally of Karen Peck Gooch, Susan Peck Jackson and Jeff Hawes. Together, they achieve a rich vocal harmony shaded with Southern Gospel, country and progressive musical sounds.

The Perrys have been on the road for 40 years, performing traditionally based songs and receiving a number of awards and accolades.

The groups consists of Libbi Perry Stuffle, Tracy Lee Stuffle, Bryan Walker and manager Jared Stuffle.

Mark Bishop is a gospel singer and songwriter, with his songs being recorded by several of today’s most popular gospel music groups.
