The Van Buren Police Department has announced dogs picked up by its animal control divisions Dec. 8-15. The dogs currently are at the department’s pen and may be rescued by calling (479) 474-1234.

• Female gray miniature poodle mix found in the 100 block of Knox Street.
• Male tan Scottish terrier mix found at the Shadow Walk Townhouses on North 28th Street.
• Female boxer mix wearing blue nylon collar found in the 700 block of North Ninth Street.
• Female black and brown dachshund mix wearing tan nylon collar found on North Ninth Street.
• Female chocolate lab mix, who is pregnant or just had puppies, found at the Head Start, Lura Lane and South 44th Street.
• Female tan chihuahua mix wearing a purple nylon collar with jewels found in the 400 block of Mountain Edge Street.
• Female white and tan lab mix wearing a red nylon collar found at the intersection of Alma Boulevard and North 20th Street.
• Male tan lab found in the area of North 28th Street and Alma Highway.
• Male brown and white pit mix wearing a blue nylon collar found in the 2000 block of North 28th Street.
• Male white Pyrenees with black spots wearing blue collar attached to small length of red cable found in the 600 block of North 13th Street.
• Male tan and white shih tzu found in the area of the 200 block of North 44th street.
• Male black and red long-haired chihuahua with grey around the muzzle area found in 200 block of North 44th Street.
