In the 21st Judicial District Circuit Court in Van Buren Sept. 11, Judge Gary R. Cottrell heard pleas and sentenced the following:

• Charles William Skelton, 42, of Westville, Okla., pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault in the second degree and was sentenced to 15 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a five-year suspended sentence. He will complete sex offender counseling while in prison.

In the 21st Judicial District Circuit Court in Van Buren Sept. 14, Judge Gary R. Cottrell heard pleas and sentenced the following:

• Tamra Lee Garrett, 45, of Arkoma pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a minor and driving while intoxicated and was placed on three years probation. She will pay a $1,500 fine and $320 court costs.

• Mark Bruce Amira, 27, of Forrestville, Calif., pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana with purpose to deliver and had a three-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay a $1,500 fine, $170 court costs, $250 fee for DNA sampling and $125 drug task force. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Robyn Lee Mollema, 33, of Van Buren pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a minor, second-degree battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest and was placed on six years probation. She will pay $170 court costs and $250 fee for DNA sampling and complete domestic violence counseling and parenting classes.

• Stacie Lynn Morton, 42, of Uniontown pleaded guilty to possession of Oxycontin with purpose to deliver and possession of methadone with intent to deliver and was sentenced to 120 days at a regional correctional facility to be followed by an eight-year suspended prison sentence. Her driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Ronald Arlene Trumbull, 45, of Alma pleaded guilty to delivery of hydromorphone, delivery of morphine and two counts of delivery of clonazepam and was sentenced to seven years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a 10-year suspended prison sentence. The sentence will run concurrently with one he is serving.

• Ronald Ray Black Jr., 39, of Mulberry pleaded guilty to theft by receiving and fleeing and was sentenced to six years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a six-year suspended prison sentence. He was given credit for jail time served.

• Daniel Ray Hurst Jr., 32, of Van Buren pleaded guilty to second-degree battery and second-degree criminal mischief and was sentenced to 60 days in the Crawford County Detention Center to be followed by a five-year suspended prison sentence. He was given credit for time served.

• Amy Louis Ward, 35, of Independence, Mo., pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine and had a six-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay a $2,000 fine, $170 court costs, $250 fee for DNA sampling and $125 drug task force fee. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Rebecca Dawn Flanagan, 24, of Fort Smith pleaded guilty to theft of public benefits and had a five-year prison sentence suspended on the condition she pay $1,814 restitution, $1,500 fine, $170 court costs and $250 fee for DNA sampling.
