In the 21st Judicial District Circuit Court in Van Buren May 11, Judge Gary R. Cottrell heard pleas and sentenced the following:

• Addison Benson III, 39, of Alma pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, criminal mischief and fleeing and was sentenced to six years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a six-year suspended prison sentence.

• Kevin Michael Prescott, 48, of Innerness, Fla., pleaded guilty to theft of property and failure to appear. Sentencing was continued until Aug. 5.

• Ryan Van Matre, 26, of Alma pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 12 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a 15-year suspended prison sentence. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Omar Manuel Lewis, 24, of Lakewood, Calif., pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to seven years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a 13-year suspended prison sentence on the condition he pay a $2,000 drug court costs, $7,705 fine, $170 court costs and $125 drug task force fee. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Michael Lee Geatchey, 41, of Fort Smith pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault and was sentenced to 12 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by an eight-year suspended prison sentence. He will complete counseling while in prison and pay a $100 public defender fee.

• Cody Allen Nance, 24, of Russellville pleaded guilty to theft of services and possession of drug paraphernalia and had a six-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay $21 restitution, $1,500 fine, $170 court costs and $250 fee for DNA sampling.

• Kelly Michael Heston, 30, of Oklahoma City pleaded guilty to possession of morphine and had a three year-prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay a $1,500 fine, $170 court costs, $250 fee for DNA sampling and $125 drug task force fee. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Michael David Rush, 47, of Greenwood pleaded guilty to possession of oxycodone with purpose to deliver and failure to appear and was placed on six years probation. He will pay a $1,000 fine, $170 court costs, $250 fee for DNA sampling and $125 drug task force fee. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Kendall Ray Fourman, 18, of Van Buren pleaded guilty to residential burglary, theft of property and criminal mischief and was sentenced to four years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a six-year suspended prison sentence on the condition he pay $4,378 restitution. He was given credit for jail time served and the sentence will run concurrently with a Sebastian County sentence.

• Sean William McKinney, 24, of Fort Smith pleaded guilty to commercial burglary and was sentenced to four years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a six-year suspended prison sentence. He was given credit for jail time served and the sentence will run concurrently with a Sebastian County sentence.

• Chalona Denise Ballard, 20, of Rudy pleaded guilty to delivery of methamphetamine and had a five-year prison sentence suspended on the condition she pay a $1,500 fine, $170 court costs and $250 fee for DNA sampling. Her driver’s license was suspended for six months and she must do 30 days of community service.

• Robin Andrew Garrett, 32, of Alma pleaded guilty to theft of property, criminal mischief and residential burglary and had a five-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay $4,775 restitution, jointly and severally, $1,500 fine and $170 court costs.

• Thomas Walter Garrett, 36, of Rudy pleaded guilty to theft of property, criminal mischief and residential burglary and had a five-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay $4,775 restitution, jointly and severally, $1,000 fine and $170 court costs.

• Robyn Lee Mollema, 32, of Van Buren pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and had a six-year prison sentence suspended on the condition she pay $1,921.33 restitution, $1,000 fine, $170 court costs and $250 fee for DNA sampling.
