In the 21st Judicial District Circuit Court in Van Buren Aug. 15, Judge Mike Medlock heard pleas and sentenced the following:

• Billy Aaron Woods, 44, of Van Buren pleaded no contest to breaking or entering and theft of property and had a six-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay $300 restitution, jointly and severally, $2,000 fine and $170 court costs.

•Melvin Ray Coker, 39, of Van Buren pleaded no contest to breaking or entering and theft of property and had a six-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay $300 restitution, jointly and severally, $2,000 fine and $170 court costs.

• Tiffany Christian Scott, 19, of Fort Smith pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and failure to appear and was placed on three years probation. She will pay a $3,500 fine, $170 court costs, $250 fee for DNA sampling and $125 drug task force fee and attend two Narcotics Anonymous meetings a week for six months. Her driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Guy Frances Sill, 48, of Fort Smith pleaded guilty to failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to 120 days in the Crawford County Detention Center with credit for time served. Jail time will satisfy fines and court costs and he will register as a sex offender when released.

• Cody Tyler Corum, 28, of Rogersville, Ala., pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and theft of property and had a three-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay $887.16 restitution, $2,500 fine, $170 court costs and $250 fee for DNA sampling.

• Andy Wayne Flaherty, 27, of Van Buren pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and two counts of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to five years in the Arkansas Department of Correction to be followed by a five-year suspended prison sentence. He was given credit for time served and the sentence will run concurrently with one he received in Sebastian County. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Ferny Lhowann Leonard, 28, of Fort Smith pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to two years at a regional correctional facility to be followed by an eight-year suspended prison sentence on the condition he pay $190 restitution. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Justin Derrick Hale, 29, of Alma pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault and had a 10-year prison sentence suspended on the condition he pay $1,000 restitution, $1,000 fine and $170 court costs and have no contact with the victim or family.

In the 21st Judicial District Circuit Court in Van Buren Aug. 20, Judge Gary R. Cottrell heard pleas and sentenced the following:

• Nicholas Stephen Greene, 37, of Fort Smith pleaded guilty to delivery of methamphetamine and was placed on three years probation. He is to enroll in a drug and alcohol treatment program and pay a $1,000 fine, $170 court costs, $100 restitution and $125 drug task force fee. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.
