A tribute band to Journey will headline this year’s Fall Festival in historic downtown Van Buren.

Fall Festival, hosted by The Old Town Merchants Association, is scheduled Oct. 9-11.

At 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, Faithfully will perform at the train depot at the top of Main Street.

"Journey tribute band Faithfully will take you on a trip from the past to the present into the greatest hits of Journey, one of the most popular rock bands in the world," said Lonnie London, president of The Old Town Merchants Association.

London said he expects Faithfully to astound the Fall Festival crowd and bring concert goers to their feet with the band’s awesome sound, modern rock look and phenomenal stage show.

"Faithfully is the premier internationally touring Journey tribute band you definitely don’t want to pass up," London said.

Founded in Nasvhille in 2011, Faithfully includes John Allen on vocals, Rickie Rivera on drums, Vincent Peer on guitar, Dave Walker of Keys and Keith Morran on bass.

London said Faithfully has packed houses everywhere they have played.

"Their high energy show defies the logic of the music industry," he said. "Faithfully covers Journey’s material from all eras of the band’s career, encompassing the band’s biggest hits as well as fan favorites."

Food, arts and crafts and entertainment will take over downtown Van Buren during Fall Festival.

The annual festival begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at the depot with the Frog Bayou Boys taking center stage.

The festival will open at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct.10, with the excursion train arriving at 10:30 a.m. There will be music throughout the day at the stage near the depot.

Featured will be Southtown Music with Rock Camp Band, solo vocalist and instrumentals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Mike Furman from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

The festival will open at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct, 11, with the excursion train arriving at 10:30 a.m.

Nick Swaim and Triple Threat will play from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
