Graduation ceremonies for Crawford County school districts’ seniors are scheduled throughout the coming weeks.
Graduation ceremonies for Alma, Cedarville, Mountainburg, Mulberry and Van Buren high schools are scheduled in the next few weeks, along with most baccalaureate ceremonies.
Cedarville School District’s graduation commencement is Friday at 7 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Baccalaureate service was Tuesday at First Baptist Church.
At least 63 seniors are expected to graduate from Cedarville High School, and at least $739,023 in scholarships has been awarded, school officials said.
Alma’s graduation is Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Charles B. Dyer Airedale Arena. Baccalaureate was Sunday at the Alma Performing Arts Center.
About 250 Alma seniors are expected to graduate, and more than $4 million has been awarded in scholarship monies.
Mountainburg, Mulberry and Van Buren high schools all will have baccalaureate services Sunday.
Mulberry’s will be at 2 p.m. at Vine Prairie Baptist Church, Van Buren’s at 3 p.m. in the Van Buren Fine Arts Center and Mountainburg’s baccalaureate will be 7:30 p.m. in the Carl D. Rogers High School Gymnasium.
Graduation for Mulberry High School will be Thursday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the C.B. "Cotton" Havener Gymnasium, with 27 seniors expected to graduate. Scholarship award monies total more than $400,000, school officials said.
Mountainburg High School graduation will be Friday, May 22, at 7:30 p.m. on Dragon Field. About 33 students are expected to graduate, school officials said. Scholarships being awarded have not yet been totalled.
Van Buren’s graduation will be Friday, May 22, at 8 p.m. at Blakemore Field. At least 385 Van Buren seniors are expected to graduate, and more than $7 million in scholarships are to be awarded, school officials said.
