A Fort Worth, Texas, man was killed by an exploding e-cigarette, authorities say.
The Associated Press reports that William Brown, 24, died Jan. 29, two days after the explosion, which happened at an e-cigarette shop in Keller.
A report from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office indicates shrapnel from the e-cigarette severed Brown's left carotid artery. The shrapnel impacted his skull, as well.
A Florida man died in a similar explosion last year.
