Mulberry won its homecoming game on Oct. 26 at “Cotton” Havener Gymnasium by defeating New School 51-45 with three players reaching double digits.

Rick Reeves led with 16 points followed by Adam Hoyle and Noah Cagle, who finished with 14 and 12 points respectively.

The YellowJackets led 14-6 after the first quarter and was up 23-18.

Joseph Lewis added five points for Mulberry while John Wilmoth contributed three.

The Lady YellowJackets dropped a 30-20 decision to New School.

Payton King and Paige Childers had four points each. Madyson Hudspeth contributed three.

Both teams had a slow start with Mulberry leading 2-1 after the first quarter but trailed 8-6 by halftime.
