The Crawford County Circuit Clerk’s Office will begin Wednesday accepting passport book and passport card applications on behalf of the U.S. State Department.
United States citizens planning international travel may apply for their passports, passport cards and have their passport photo taken Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 317 Main St, Van Buren.
Circuit Clerk Sharon Blount-Baker said appointments are not necessary.
Blount-Baker said she and her staff have planned and worked toward implementing this service for some time.
“Thanks to the support of our citizens, County Judge Dennis Gilstrap and our quorum court, we are now at a new location where we are able to provide this additional service for our community,” she said.
