Crawford County Fair Association will host its annual fair pageants and talent show during the fair week of Sept. 11-16 at Kirksey Park in Mulberry.

A contestant sign-up meeting and rehearsal will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 2 at the fairgrounds. Each contestant will need to submit the entry form, bio sheet and entry fee of $25.

All contestants must reside and attend school in Crawford County at least six months prior to the pageant. Entry deadline is Sept. 2.

Nine pageant divisions will be held this year.

Youth divisions will consist of tiny tot ages birth to 11 months, wee princess ages 1-2, tiny princess ages 3-4, princess ages 5-6, junior princess ages 7-8, little miss ages 9-10, and junior miss ages 11-12. The teen pageant will be for ages 13-16 and queen division for ages 17-21.

Tiny tot, wee princess and tiny princess pageants will be held at 7 p.m. on Sept. 12; junior princess, little miss and junior miss pageants will be 7 p.m. on Sept. 14; and the princess pageant will be 7 p.m. on Sept. 16.

Teen and queen pageants will be on Sept. 16 at 8:30 p.m.

Winner of the queen pageant will receive a $1,500 scholarship to the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. Winners of the teen and queen pageants will also represent Crawford County at the Arkansas State Fair pageants in October.

The annual Crawford County Youth Talent Contest will be Sept. 16. at 7 p.m. in conjunction with the princess pageant.

There will be three age divisions this year for ages 3-9, ages 10-15 and ages 16-21. The entry fee is $25 per division and the deadline to enter is Sept. 2.

Talent categories are: vocal solo, vocal group, instrumental solo and variety. Talent presentations must not exceed three minutes.

Cash prizes will be awarded to a winner in each divisions. Winners in divisions no. 2 and 3 will represent Crawford County at the Regional Youth Talent Contest in Little Rock at the Arkansas State Fair.
