An Easter egg hunt for pre-school aged special needs children will be one of the highlights of Living Local on Thursday on Main Street in downtown Van Buren.

The egg hunt with candy provided by Renee Barrow Farmers Insurance will begin at 6 p.m. in Blanche Moore Memorial Park, according to Alan Foliart, president of The Old Town Merchants Association.

Foliart said the Easter bunny also will be visiting those attending Living Local from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and again on Saturday.

“The bunny will be handing out eggs that will contain special discounts and candy,” he said.
