Three arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on Interstate 40 pleaded not guilty on Wednesday in Crawford County Circuit Court.

Robert Junior Johnson, 45, of St. Louis, Mo., Adrienne Latice Barnes, 38, of Killeen, Texas, and Joseph Jerome Johnson, 53, of Columbia, Mo., are charged with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of MDMA/ecstasy with purpose to deliver, possession of marijuana with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. Robert Johnson also is charged with theft by receiving and Joseph Johnson with felon in possession of a firearm and habitual offender.

The three were arrested Jan. 25 by Arkansas State Police Trooper Josh Elmore who stopped an eastbound Toyota driven by Robert Johnson for failing to stay in its lane and an obstructed license plate.

Johnson gave Elmore consent to search the Toyota but fled to a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was parked up the interstate, according to an arrest report. The trooper blocked the Jeep and ordered Johnson, the Jeep’s driver Joseph Johnson and passenger Barnes out of the vehicle.

When Joseph Johnson got out of the Jeep he dropped a pipe with white residue on the ground, the arrest report states.

Elmore found a loaded 9mm pistol in the glove box and a large quantity of pills which field-tested positive for MDMA.

Troopers also found a stolen pistol in the Toyota suspected marijuana and cocaine and scales.

The public defender’s office entered the not-guilty pleas for the three and waived formal arraignment before Judge Gary R. Cottrell.

Other pleas heard Wednesday by Cottrell included:

• Christoper Aaron Wayne Hellard, 33, of Alma pleaded not guilty to fleeing in a vehicle and habitual offender. He is accused of fleeing from a Kibler police officer who was attempting to make a traffic stop on Sept. 21. Hellard also resisted a petition to revoke a sentence he received June 19, 2015, for breaking or entering and theft of property, alleging he failed to do community service.

• Travis Gene Perkins, 35, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to theft by receiving - firearm and habitual offender. Perkins is accused of selling a stolen firearm on Nov. 6.

• Barry Lee Gier, 32, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to commercial burglary, theft of property, arson and habitual offender. Gier is accused of breaking into River Valley Electronic Jan. 25 and setting fire to a storage building in the 8800 block of Village Crossing on Sept. 5, 2016.

• Christian Lee Gier, 39, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to commercial burglary, theft of property and habitual offender. Gier is accused of breaking into River Valley Electronic Jan. 25.

• Timothy James Lynn, 23, of Fort Smith pleaded not guilty to delivery of hydrocodone in proximity to certain facilities. Lynn allegedly sold hydrocodone to a confidential informant for the Van Buren Police Department near an elementary school on Dec. 17, 2016.

• James Darryl Redding, 49, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and habitual offender. Redding was arrested Jan. 30 following a traffic stop by a Van Buren police officer.

• Brian Michael Howard, 38, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Howard was arrested Jan. 30 following a traffic stop by a Van Buren police officer.

• Lorri Ann Carr, 42, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree criminal impersonation and habitual offender. Carr was arrested Jan. 30 following a traffic stop by a Van Buren police officer.

• Catherine Arline Jones, 41, of Alma pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Jones was arrested Jan. 30 following a traffic stop by a Van Buren police officer.

• Myshell Renee Britt, 51, of Avondale, Ariz., pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and possession of Xanax. Britt was arrested Jan. 30 after being stopped by an Arkansas State Police trooper for speeding on Interstate 40.

• Cecil Allen Cooper, 46, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to second-degree sexual assault and attempted second-degree sexual assault. Cooper was arrested Feb. 2 by Van Buren police, accused of sexual misconduct with an 18-year-old woman and 27-year-old woman.

• Cameron Cassidy Cherry, 28, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to residential burglary, theft of property and habitual offender. Cherry allegedly stole a chainsaw from a residence in the 3200 block of Maywood Place on Nov. 25.

• Anetta Lynn Hothouse, 36, of Corinth, Texas, pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license suspended or revoked. Hothouse was arrested Jan. 30 by a sheriff’s deputy following a traffic stop on Hilltop Road.

• Alicia Lynn Key, 27, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and habitual offender. Key was arrested Jan. 30 during a parole search at a residence in the 1400 block of Shibley Road.

• Brandon Joe Thomas Brooks, 30, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to first-degree forgery, possession of marijuana and habitual offender. Brooks was arrested Jan. 24 following a traffic stop by a Van Buren police officer.

• William Freddie Jordan, 24, of Rudy pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine. Jordan was arrested Feb. 1 by a sheriff’s deputy who was investigating a criminal trespass complaint in the 10400 block of Jubilee Drive.

• Jonathan Elbert Adkins, 27, of Fort Smith pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession of oxycodone, driving while intoxicated and habitual offender. Adkins was arrested Jan. 30 by a sheriff’s deputy following an accident at the Natural Dam bridge.

• Sammy Joe Stedman, 43, of Waldon pleaded not guilty to violation of a protection order. Stedman allegedly made contact with a woman who had an order of protection at her residence on Webster Branch Road.

• Frankie Jaoquin Brown, 25, of Fort Smith pleaded not guilty to failure to appear at a May 25, 2016, hearing on a hot check charge.

• Dwight Nicholas Green, 27, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to failure to appear at a Dec. 12 hearing on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Chelsea Nicole Hale, 24, of Alma pleaded not guilty to failure to appear at a Jan. 31 hearing on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hydrocodone.

• Thomas Jeffrey Schibbelhut, 43, of Alma pleaded not guilty to failure to appear at a Nov. 14 hearing on a charge of delivery of methamphetamine.

• Justin Allen Livingston, 31, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty two counts of failure to appear, alleging he failed to appear in court Jan. 11 on a charge of breaking or entering and Jan. 20 on charges of breaking or entering and theft of property.

• Odin Wayne Godrey, 22, of Van Buren pleaded not guilty to failure to appear at a Dec. 12 hearing on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Sunshine Obliss Roberts, 34, of Alma pleaded not guilty to failure to appear at a Jan. 14 hearing on charges of theft by receiving and breaking or entering.

• Jeremy Delmar Kirkendall, 24, of Kibler resisted a petition to revoke a sentence he received March 6, 2015, for commercial burglary and attempted commercial burglary, alleging he has failed to pay restitution.

• Heather Nicole Terry, 32, of Van Buren resisted a petition to revoke a sentence she received Nov. 16, 2016, for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hydrocodone, possession of oxycodone and possession of dilaudid, alleging she violated terms of the drug court program.

• Katy Lynn (Arnold) Hancock, 27, of Van Buren resisted a petition to revoke a sentence she received Aug. 7, 2015, for residential burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia, alleging she was arrested Jan. 14 for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Charles Thomas Turney, 36, of Van Buren resisted a petition to revoke a sentence he received Oct. 23, 2015, for second-degree domestic battery, alleging he has failed to pay fines and court costs.

• Amanda Kathern Brown, 35, of Van Buren resisted a petition to revoke a sentence she received Oct. 23, 2013, for theft of services and failure to appear, alleging she has failed to pay restitution.

• Tera Gail Parker, 32, of Van Buren resisted a petition to revoke a sentence she received Jan. 15, 2014, for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Roxicodone and driving while intoxicated, alleging she violated terms of the drug court program and was arrested Sept. 29 for first-degree criminal mischief and criminal trespass.

• Wilburn Lee Patterson, 44, of Bokoshe resisted a petition to revoke a sentence he received Nov. 30, 2011, for nonsupport, alleging he has failed to make child-support payments.

• Ova Dean Summers, 56, of Barling resisted a petition to revoke a sentence she received Sept. 26, 2001, for overdraft, alleging she owes $5,782.07 in restitution.
