Paige Henson (left) and Lane Broyles lead in the U.S. and 4-H pledges at the Rocky Top 4-H Club’s January meeting. The meeting was called to order by club president Rylli Hammond and club secretary Annie Beasley read the minutes from the previous meeting, conducted roll call and gave the treasury report. Bryce Beasley led the club in a song.
Guest speaker was Lillian Beasley, who asked club members for their assistance on a community project she is working on to receive a scholarship. Lane Broyles gave a report on the poultry show he attended and Rylli Hammond gave a report on the county newspaper interviewing her and Mountainburg Mayor Neal Moon about his goats. Also, officers were sworn in for the 2014-15 year.
