Autumn is the time for fairs and festivals, and there are many to choose from in our area. Love arts and crafts and looking for some amazing festivals to attend in the coming months? We’ve gathered a list of four great festivals to attend in the region.

1. The Fin and Feather Annual Fall Festival - Sept. 25-27 - Gore, Okla.

Each September, Fin and Feather Resort at 445889 Hwy 10-A in Gore hosts its annual fall festival, one of the most popular arts and crafts shows in the state. Last year, thousands of visitors flocked to see more than 200 exhibitors displaying and selling their unique handiwork during the three-day event. 2. Van Buren Fall Festival - Oct. 9-11 - Historic Downtown Van Buren

Autumn is welcomed in, old-fashioned style as Van Buren opens the 400-800 blocks of historic Main Street for its annual fall festival. More than 100 exhibitors will be displaying fine artwork, handcrafted items, antiques and collectibles. A concert will be held Friday at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday will feature arts and crafts booths plus various entertainment. The event will be held rain or shine. 3. Ozark Regional Arts and Crafts Festival - Oct. 15-18 - Rogers, Springdale, Fayetteville

The largest indoor craft fair in the state, the annual Ozark Regional festival will be held in three locations - the Northwest Arkansas Convention Center at the Holiday Inn in Springdale, the John Q. Hammons Convention Center adjacent to the Embassy Suites in Rogers and at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Fayetteville. Not only is it the premier craft show in Northwest Arkansas, the festival is nationally known and recognized as one of the top 100 craft fairs in the United States. An estimated 250,000 people will attend the festival. This year the event is celebrating 25 years. 4. War Eagle Fair - Oct. 15-18 - Hindsville

Began in 1954, the War Eagle Fair at 11037 High Sky Inn Road in Hindsville was started as a way for crafters from across the Ozarks region to display their works and continues today with the same idea. It is considered a "must attend" for most crafters in the state. With more than 250 booths of handcrafted products displayed by their creators, the War Eagle Fair takes place along the banks of the War Eagle River.
