Drusilla Matthews, 98, of the Bond Special community died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014. She was born in Willow, Okla., October 12, 1915, and was the widow of Gerald Matthews. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church and formerly worked at Holiday Food and Oak Lodge Nursing Home.
She is survived by a son, Rev. Bill Matthews; four daughters, Betty Williams, Jeanne Conger, Kay Goodman and Fay Bogan; two brothers, W.C. Ray and Howard Ray; a sister Peggy Baldwin; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Jan. 13 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren.
Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons-in-law.
