The Pointers continued their dominance at Disney World’s Wide World of Sports as it swept through three teams with a combined 41-3 score.

Van Buren began the run with a 13-2 win over Hamden Hall, Conn., on March 19 and followed up with a 13-0 drumming of Harvey, N.Y., on March 21. Jackson Hurst had a three-run home run and Chase Moore was 2 for 2 with a two-run home run. Dakota Peters also went 2 for 2. Landrey Wilkerson threw four innings and allowed no runs with five strikeouts.

In the final game, which began around 8 a.m. on Thursday morning, the Pointers didn’t take much time to route Frankford, Pa., 15-1. Ethan Rauser was 2 for 2 with three RBIs. Wilkerson, Moore, and Seth Humphrey had two hits and two RBIs each.

Trevor Johnson earned the win for three innings of work with no hits and five strikeouts.
