Former Alma standout earns all-conference honors at University of the Ozarks.

University of the Ozarks' Brooke Hoffsommer was one of three softball players named All-Conference by the American Southwest Conference on May 2. The former Alma High School standout led the team with 18 runs and 111 at-bats and ranked second in hits (25) and total bases (30). A starter in all 37 games, Hoffsommer had six multiple-hit games. She scored two or more runs in four different games. Against Howard Payne, she drove in three runs and scored three runs against Blackburn. During a 12-game stretch in March, she hit over .350. Hoffsommer was also All-Conference in 2015.
