Drivers earn another win at CCS; Lewis, Anders win first feature.

Duane Rose won his second feature race of the season after placing 10th last week at Crawford County Speedway on April 15.

Rose won back on March 25 and became the first repeat winner in the Street Stock class.

Jesse Garner, who was first back on April 1, was runner-up and Rick Craig was third for the second straight week. Will Lamproe grabbed his fifth consecutive Top 5 finish and Clinton Drummond was fifth.

Another round of racing is on tap for this weekend with point races for all classes. CCS will host its second round of Powder Puff races on April 29.

MINI STOCK

Stan Lewis won his first feature race of the season. Johnny Gregory, who had a win back on March 25 clinched his third straight runner-up and his fourth overall. Mike Davis had his highest finish of the young racing season as he took third.

Travis Boyster was fourth for the second week in a row. Jeremy Boyster was fifth in two weeks and has placed fifth three times this season.

A MODIFIED

Van Buren’s Shannon Weese won his second feature event in three starts after he finished runner-up last week. Jason Foster, who took fifth last week, was second and the previous winner, Cedarville’s Dalton McKenzie, nabbed third.

The Top 5 was rounded out with Randall Hardbarger and Mark Eusery taking fourth and fifth respectively.

FRONT WHEEL DRIVE

Chris Tuck won his third feature race after back-to-back wins in FWD class. Tuck has finished in either first or second in the five races this season.

Harley McNatt had his highest finish of the season as he took second and Shynia Drummond was third. Matt Hobbs and Michael Hopson rounded out the Top 5.

B MODIFIED

The class had five new drivers with Daniel Anders making his debut with the win.

Caden Ellis, who took first in the season opener, was runner-up and Tim Edens grabbed second. Newcomers, for the season, Steve McCloughlin and Tony Quinton, were fourth and fifth.

LATE MODELS

Roy Long won the second running of the Late Model class after he placed seventh back on March 18. Jake Davis was runner-up and the previous winner, Hank Long, secured third. Camden Perry and Brandon Mitchell clinched fourth and fifth respectively.

GRAND NATIONAL

Billy Wheeler won his third consecutive feature race while James Drummond debuted for the 2017 season in runner-up.

Hank Long earned third and Gene Gore was fourth. Sam Burrows placed fifth.
