Dillon Kinsey and Teo Sousa won all four of their recent wrestling matches and Van Buren, as a team, won three, including a sweep of Northside and Southside on Jan. 30. Van Buren split with Fayetteville and Bentonville on Jan. 28.

Kinsey, competing in the largest weight class (285) won two of his matches by pinning and two others by a decision.

Sousa (106 and 113) defeated each of his opponents via pin.

Ethan Lindsay (138) won three of his four matches at the recent meets sweeping his Fort Smith oppenents. Jordyn Nhamnhouane (170) beat three of his four oppenents, including a sweep of both Southside and Northside. Matt Gibson (220) also won three matches.

Kodi Brasuell (160) defeated Allen Nguyen (Southside) and Jesus Gonzalez (Fayetteville) fo his two wins.

Austin Whitmore (132) grabbed two wins as he drew a forfeit and pinned Aaron Thavonekham (132). Garrett Brumely also had two wins against the Fort SMith schools.

Hunter Greenfield (113 and 120) picked up one win against Northside’s Zach Montgomery. Jet Turner (152) and Mack Stamps (195) also had one win.
