For quite some time, I have needed to write this note. There is a young man named Bryan who works daily for CV’s grocery on Pointer Trail. It is evident that doesn’t always feel like carrying out two, four or sometimes 10 bags of groceries for me, but he never complains. He is always business. It would be so nice if everyone in this town would go by and compliment this young man. By the way, CV’s is so clean and neat. It’s just a real pleasure to shop there.
There is a young lady at Citizens Bank named Pam Collins. She is the most efficient person I have met in a long time.
You must know that we have the best fire department in Van Buren. They always come quickly when I need help.
By the way, the best Reuben sandwiches are found at Kopper Kettle; the best pizza buffet is at Geno’s next to CV’s; the best breakfast is at Sisters; and the best greeting cards are at Dollar General.
The best Sunday school is at Van Buren First Assembly every Sunday at 9 a.m. The best paper carrier (first name Angela) has been faithful even through all this ice and snow.
One more thing I must mention, I could not have made it lately without strength from God, my pastors at First Assembly, family and friends. You must know how much you mean to me. Much love and thanks again.
