Kenneth Reuterskiold, 89, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014. He was born October 9, 1924, in Fort Atkinson, Wis., to the late Fred and Martha Reuterskiold. He was a pilot for 50 years, was a retired aircraft mechanic with the Air National Guard and sold Real Estate. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter and grandson.
He is survived by a daughter, Annie Woody and husband Dewey of Rudy; a son, Michael Reuterskiold and wife Cathy of Granbury, Texas; a sister, Dorothy Scales of Pardeeville, Wis.; a brother, Jim Reuterskiold of Edgerton, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews, and many friends.
A family-hosted graveside memorial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
