Franklin Eugene Foster, 34, of Van Buren died Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at a local hospital. He was a cook at Kentucky Fried Chicken and widower of Sarah Deboard Foster.

He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Foster of Fort Smith; a son, Marty Foster of Kibler; his adopted mother, Margaret Foster of Fort Smith; his mother and stepfather, Linda and William McLane Sr. of Fort Smith; 10 sisters, Debra Hall of Valdosta, Ga., Phyllis Moore of Kibler, Abigale Turner, Cynthia Wilcox, Rose Graves and Tiffany McLane, all of Fort Smith, Rachel Wiggins of Van Buren, Betty Cowan of Rudy, Cindy Posey of Mesa, Ariz., and Jeanette Pierce of Shafter, Calif.; and nine brothers, Daniel Carter of Deermont, Ark., John Mashburn of Grady, Ark., Tommy Foster of Mesa, Ariz., Timothy Crain, James Mashburn and William McClain Jr., all of Fort Smith, Paul Mashburn of Oklahoma City, Jimmy Wilcox of Malvern and Bobby Crain of Kibler.

Visitation is Jan. 15 at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
