Earl Eugene Irvan, 84, of Van Buren died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at a local hospital. He was the retired owner and operator of Irvan DX Service Station in Van Buren, native of Rudy and Navy veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Verna; four daughters, Diane Gordon of Muldrow, Okla., Janice White of Van Buren, Angela Moore of Poteau and Courtney Butler of Barling; a son, James Irvan of Van Buren; a sister, Helen Flannery of Dallas; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. McCurry Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
