Lance Leon Lasiter, 53, of Montgomery, Ala., passed away Jan. 25, 2018. He was born July 29, 1964, in Fort Smith.
He was a loving father and grandfather and a Christian. He loved sports and fishing. He was a great cook who shared is bounty with many, a steel worker of excellence and always ready to help anyone who needed him.
He will be missed by many. He is survived by his ex-wife, Melissa Milendy; three sons, Justin, Jeremy and Joseph Lasiter; and eight grandchildren, all of Prattville, Ala.; his father, William Paul Lasiter and stepmother Jennie of Dyer; his mother, Betty Walker and stepfather Charles Walker of Van Buren; two brothers, William Michael Lasiter of Pine Bluff and Vance Leroy Lasiter, his twin brother, of Dyer; one stepbrother, Pete Kinny of Alvin, Texas; one sister, Teresa Evans of Goshen, Ark.; half sisters, Elizabeth Sewell of Fort Smith and Venus Nickell of Lavaca; stepsisters, Lori Mayabb and Kim Jenkins, both of Fort Smith, and Delana Patterson of Ozark; and many friends.
The body was cremated and will be buried in Prattville, Ala., with a graveside service.
