Oneta C. Cox lost her battle with glioblastoma brain cancer on Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017, in Clovis, Calif.
Neta, as she was known, grew up in Alma and attended the University of Arkansas. She was a retired program director with UNISYS corp and a renowned breeder of Tonkinese cats. She was active in many organizations and traveled extensively to cat shows across the nation. Neta traveled to Mexico in March with her extended family and enjoyed every minute.
She is survived by her brother, Neal Moon; nieces, Cindy, Libby and Becca; nephew, Wil; and their children, plus numerous friends.
Neta had just celebrated her 80th birthday.
